  14. WHAT'S NEW IN THIS VERSION
  15.  
  16.    It's been a long time since relase 1.0 of Unnkulian Unventure II.
  17. The game and its predecessor, UU1, were so successful that we've
  18. formed a company to distribute our games, and have many new and
  19. upcoming titles set in the Unnkulian and other worlds.  See
  20. README.DOC for more information about ADVENTIONS, your 90's source
  21. for interactive novels.

  23.    I've made many major changes to UU2 since release 2.0, the main
  24. being the switch to TADS 2, which now provides the handy UNDO command
  25. along with some bug fixes.  TADS 2 also runs games in much less
  26. memory by swapping game objects to and from disk as needed.  Perhaps
  27. most important, the PC version of TADS 2 uses the BIOS for its text
  28. output, enabling ADVENTIONS games to be used with text readers for
  29. the visually impaired.

  31.    The text has been entirely reformatted for better readability, and
  32. the new  SPACE and INDENT commands let you customize the output to
  33. your liking.

  35.    Hundreds of bugs have been fixed and inconsistencies made consistent.
  36. It's been a tremendous amount of work, but a labor of love.  Have fun
  37. with the game!
